Frequently Asked Question
How are Co-member reservations billed?*
Last Updated 23 days ago
Deskworks now offers a customizable setting for co-member reservations, giving you control over how these bookings are billed.
New Setting: Allow Personal Reservations by Co-Members
Location: SETUP > SETTINGS > RESERVATION
Default: Unchecked
How It Works:
1. Unchecked (Default):
- When the "Allow personal reservations by co-members" setting is left unchecked, any reservation made by a co-member will automatically be billed to the main account.
- As the co-member initiates a reservation, they are automatically switched to the main account for billing purposes.
- Please Note: Co-members can only make reservations under the company account if the "Can Make Reservations?" setting is enabled on their co-member profile. This setting is found under the primary member's account under MEMBERS > VIEW/EDIT PROFILE > CO-MEMBER section:
2. Checked (Optional):
- If the setting is checked, co-members will have the ability to make reservations that are billed to their personal account and the company account.
- IMPORTANT: Ensure all co-members with access to make reservations have an active recurring billing on their personal accounts before enabling this setting. If a co-member makes a reservation under their personal account without an active recurring billing, neither the co-member nor the company will be billed.
How to Enable Personal Reservations for Co-Members
To allow co-members to make reservations billed to their personal accounts, simply go to SETUP > SETTINGS > locate the RESERVATION section and check the box next to "Allow personal reservations by co-members".
