Will a security deposit add to my INCOME (CASH) REPORT?

When you receive the Security Deposit (by cash, check, credit card, etc.), it will appear on your Income (Cash) Report, since this is cash you have received.
It will not show on your Income by Item (Accrual) Report, since this is not actually money you have earned; it is a liability of yours that is owed back to the payor.
