The proration will occur automatically if you use Staff Registration or Self Registration. Your proration structure was set up in SETTINGS at your startup with Deskworks.

If you add a new charge in Recurring Billing to an existing member, you will see a checkbox on the Recurring Billing screen, “Post Proration?” If the member starts the new plan in the middle of the month, by checking the box, a proration will be posted for the new plan from the current date to the end of the month. Be sure to set Next Bill Date to the 1st of the next month.
